The Reality Augmenter serves as a valuable tool for projection mapping, a technique used to project images onto surfaces without requiring precise alignment of the projector. Sources Tab:

In the Sources tab, users can select videos, photos, albums from the camera roll, create text, or specify webpages to use as source textures. Sources can be customized in various ways depending on their type. The cropping feature allows users to adjust the visuals using the crop icon present in the source editor.

Layers Tab:

The Layers tab allows for the creation and combination of sources into layers for projection. Users can assign sources as the main layer image, set overlays or masks. Geometry editing unlocks by tapping on the edit button in the layers view or performing a long press on any layer. Mapping surfaces involves dragging and mapping the four corners of a quad geometry using the precise editor provided.

Output Tab:

The Output tab includes options to play/pause the project, flip secondary display output, activate a basic screensaver for prolonged use, and connect to Cast devices within the application.

Configurations Tab:

New configurations can be accessed, created, or deleted within this section for user convenience.

Note: The app's video and photo support varies across devices based on video/photo size and quality. For extended use durations, it is advisable to disable screen locking and keep the iOS device connected to power. The app has an integrated screensaver feature that automatically turns off display output after a certain period of inactivity.
